About the measurements
The measurements were taken with a Rohde & Schwarz FSUP Signal Source Analyser that is using phase detector method and two receiver paths with cross-correlation.
All radios were powered from linear power supply to avoid any spurs that may come from switching mode PSU. The power level of the radios were set to full power to have equal circumstances, with lower power the performance of the radio can be worse, because of the worse S/N ration in radios internal stages. Radios were set to CW mode and CW carried was send to the FSUP thru appropriate attenuator.
About the measured equipment
Some of the radios measured are old, and the history of them is not well known. Because of that it is not know if some previous owner has made some modifications to radio, so that should be noted when looking these results. If the radio has been modified, and this in known, it will be noted with "MOD" text next the typecode.
In IC-910 equipped with UX-910 23cm band unit, operator can change PLL parameters from usermenu for better performance in FM or SSB. Both of these choices were measured, marked with PLL1 and PLL2.
